SD Racing's Darren Sciberras will be competing in the 2009 ASBK Supersport championship aboard an all new Motologic prepared Honda CBR600RR.

Darren had his first ride of the new machine at Winton on January 19th and 20th and despite the sweltering heat was able to cut enough laps to get a good feel of the new bike.

"Motologic have done a great job preparing this bike, the build quality is exceptional and it's fantastic to be able to tap into the knowledge of a team that has had so much recent success.

The bike if very different to ride than my 2008 bike, it does everything with so much more ease and funnily enough that is taken me a little while to get use to. Although my fastest time for the test (1.29.0) was a bit off my previous best, I can see a lot of potential with this bike and I know I just need more time with it."

On Darren's second outing on the new bike he was starting to get much more comfortable and after only 12 laps at Phillip Island was well on track to beating his previous best of a 1.40.1 before a nasty crash put a halt to testing.
